Clayton Postings, Director of Parks, Recreation and Culture for the Town of Ladysmith has been awarded the position of CAO for the Town of Cumberland. Clayton has been a terrific regional partner in his time in Ladysmith. While we are sorry to see him leave the BCRPA Board, we are thrilled to see another “Reccie” in a top leadership position on the Island.
Port Coquitlam’s Recreation Department welcomes Melissa Wilson in the newly created Community Services Coordinator role. Melissa comes to us with over 10 years of progressive leadership in the Non-Profit Sector, with additional background in school and community settings. She has extensive knowledge of working with School Districts, Social Service organizations, Recreation, Health and Government, all with a focus on serving individuals and communities through a strength based and collaborative approach. The Community Services Coordinator role will provide leadership and a dedicated focus on the important areas of Volunteer Services, Access and Inclusion, Neighborhood Development, and Community Service needs as a whole.
